I'm thinking about making a trip down over the next 2 weeks. I'd like to know what the Teleford conditions are.

I wasn't at Telford, but dove 2 other springs that are near the river and flood quickly this past weekend. It's dropping, and with Little River as well as Peacock clearing, I'd bet it's good enough to dive.
Not sure if you've been to Telford after a flood, but remember it gets SUPER dusty in there. If no one else has dove it, 50ft viz in can easily be 5-10ft going out. With the high ceiling areas it takes a while for bubbles to knock stuff loose, so a quick glance behind you and it all looks clean, 5 minutes later it's not. That was my first experience with peculation, and I didn't realize it was happening until turning the dive.
Hope that helps...have fun, Telford is my favorite cave in that area!![]()
Thanks James. I'll keep your advice in mind.

Telford has been very silty since it was gated 2 years ago. The flow is up right now.... silt on everything, even the line.
It is good enough to dive
I think the last time I was in was in October/November 2009. It was dusty, crap on the line, but it was a very nice swim. I'm looking for a nice leisurely dive and I think that's the one. I'll drop the scooter where it pinches down and spend the afternoon there.
Thanks for the good info.

Dove it 1.5 weeks ago.
Flow was up, viz was decent.
Yes it is surely starting to look like a river cave.
I was in Telford May 25. You have to walk up the Suwannee from the boat ramp. Try to stay waist deep or less. This means working your way through several downed trees. The entrance to Telford is under water. Flow in Telford is as high as the flow in Devil's Ear. Despite the flow, it is silty.
