I trained with an instructor who taught 2 configurations, stating that the common one was the way to go. We did do some air sharing with him staying on the short hose the whole time and donating the long hose that was strapped to his doubles.
Haven't seen that configuration since.
Bwahatake the tanks off your back and I can show you more clear stuff.
