Any thoughts on closet airport? Even smaller ones couple of buddies are pilots.
I am really thinking about rolling solo if I am unsuccessful getting others motivated.
There is an airport in Marianna if you are a private pilot.

Maybe we should consider offering a shuttle service to people flying into the Workshop.

I'd be game, but I sure am hoping to be bringing my small car down on that trip. Worst case, I think it is only a 4 mile walk to the mill pond

For what it's worth I'm flying down on jetblue from JFK to jax and renting a car for about 350. In my jeep the cost of gas and a hotel room on the drive down would have been well past that mark.

If we sign up and not show up do we still get the t-shirt(s)? I signed up intending to show up, but holiday weekend travel is often just too much trouble to be worthwhile, the family may or may not want to get together, and I'll be in the middle of the roughest season at work (in need of real rest, not travel, and certainly not cave diving). I could make up some more potential excuses, but I'd really like a t-shirt (or both of them) whether I can actually attend the meeting or not.

Yep, you still get the t-shirts, unless you ask for a refund

no-no, no refund! I really do plan to attend - my favorite topics from my favorite group of people in my favorite cave diving location. i never ever travel on holiday weekends, but this one was just too good to miss.

Skip, just send me an e-mail with your shipping information if you end up having to miss the workshop and I'll make sure your shirts get to you.

    But you better be here!
