Little River Update 5/9

Water level today still high at about a foot and a half up the stone wall . Water flow was just moderate as we made our way easily past Table Rock and to the the 1st T in about 20 minutes. The second T took only another 6-7 minutes and with little effort made it into the Florida Room appx 400' before hitting thirds . We turned and exited via the Merry go Round and the entire dive was just under an hour. The vis was at least fair to good throughout the dive. We had such a good dive that we went back to Dive Outpost to gas up and returned for a second dive that included the Merry go Round shortcut. A picture perfect Sunday with many locals enjoying the park and water - we were surprised to be the only divers there considering the great condition of the cave.....

That's good to know, I have been wanting to hit little river. I just recently started cave diving, and most of the caves have been flooded.

Are the rotten fish still on the left at the bottom of the chimney? Nasty!! Hope they're gone.

Looks like you were right...Madison under yesterday 5/13 and Little River looks like it will be under very soon if not already!

I just peeked at the guages on the Suwanee. They are either leveling off or starting to drop a bit. So it might not get any worse.
Madison took a nice drop between Thursday and today , so ... (smile)
