WTB: 9Ah Canister and Battery Pack

I need a canister and/or battery pack for a 9ah Nimh HID light. Anyone have any suggestions?

You didn't say what size canister you have, but you can measure the inside, and see which ones will fit. They are a whole lot cheaper than OEM replacements. They have canisters too, or 350xfire can make you one.

Yeah... I should have clarified that. Currently, I have a 4.5Ah canister. However, it doesn't provide the space for enough batteries to light up an 18W HID for more than 100min or so.

I'm trying to find the cheapest solution to increase the burn time, while not stepping down to a 10W. So, my thought was to buy a bigger can, and battery, and still use my 18w light head.

If you go to a Li battery, you can probably use the same canister you have. If you can get a Wreck Light canister, then you could use a 9ah NiMH.
That link I posted has Salvo canisters, and Li batteries to match. Someone here may have an old Wreck Light canister, and the 9ah NiMH from the same link should fit that. Otherwise 350xfire can make you a bigger canister.

My canisters have a 2.25" OD and have around 6" of useable battery space. With a Li-Ion battery I can get 4.5 hours on a 21w HID.

You can probably get away with the canister you have now if you find a good battery pack. I will be selling them for $140 but unfortunately there is around a 3 week wait on Li-Ion packs right now.

FYI,

I sent this user $180 for a battery pack and charger, using PayPal, on May 11th. At that time, the wait time for the pack would be approximately 3-4 weeks.

I had a difficult time contacting him around the first of June, but finally reached him. (He was dealing with some personal issues, and was apologetic in his lack of reply to emails, phone calls, etc.) At that time, he apologized. and promised that I would have my battery no later than the 9th of June. It's now the 21st, and he hasn't returned one call or email since then.

This morning I disputed the charge on my VISA and PayPal.

If anyone else has any information regarding this user, please IM me ASAP.

I have a couple of canisters laying around that can fit 12 LiIons. I'll let these go cheap since they are part of my "scratch and dent" pile.
With 12 LiIon you can get an 11.1v 8,000-10,000mah pack, depending on batteries used. If you need a battery pack I may be able to help with that as well. I have a guy that builds them professionally for me. They are all capacitive discharge welded with PCB.

Sorry can't help with that!!! I know there is a group either in SCUBAboard or decostop getting ready to file some kind of fraud form. I hated to hear this since I have corresponded with adm on a few occasions and he seemed pretty nice, but...
