They do offer that tough skin one now... that'll be my replacement I suppose, one day. Mine's pretty well worn, but stil has plenty of life in it... Once the canvas is gone, I may even just aquaseal some rubber or vinyls over it -LOL

When I was a teenager in a big flat state out west, there was a strong market for worn out Jeans and boots that were in demand by the wannabee cowboys back east.

If this is a similar fad, maybe we can get a really good trade in allowance on worn out Nomads as well, or just sell them for a premium price in the "gear for sale" sections of various boards.

I think we would get charged with contributing to the delusion of stupid divers.

Want a worn out one? It may or may not aid in your admittance into sites like Convict Springs. I'll give you a good price, considering I've already pre-beat-the-crap out of it.

As far as I can tell, free. Don't quote me on that, but last time I was camping there, they said as long as I had the necessary certs, I could go ahead. Of course, the very next day the river intruded into the spring, and it was undivable. Talk to the new owners, they are very nice..
