The landowners in Mexico have certainly figured this out. Chris Le Maillot was telling me on Thursday that, where it used to take YEARS to get roads in to more remote sites, let alone steps or tables, now it takes about six months from the time landowners learn they have a diveable site, to where it's easy to access. It's a good thing and a bad thing, as the caves get more traffic, but it also means it's a lot easier to get to them, and it spreads the diving population out over more places.

The top headliner in the Jackson County Floridan about this study was pretty impressive.

I can imagine that most state and county administrations are more willing to look at cave diving as a source of revenue due to the economic conditions. I hate to admit it but this is a very opportune time to get things opened up. Good luck, and well done. Looks like I need to start putting my money where my mouth is.

Very cool, I know that the Marianna business owners are aware of it. Great job!

Great study. I never realized cave diver made such a positive economic impact.
