    Default Eagle's Nest 4-11-10

Viz varied, but averaged about 20', no current
Head pool had a lot of dead algae clumps, which stuck to everything. Viz in the headpool was only about 5'.

We had a nice scooter dive, went almost to EOL upstream in under 10 minutes. Had a nice warm, dry, deco in my new Black Ice drysuit

I like the no current part...lol!
Crappy viz for the Nest.....looks like the summer heat has brewed up the algae in the basin early!
We never had a spring here (Tampa area)...went from COLD winter to HOT in 10 days or so!

    Default what's up

    Forrest,

What happened to all your 35 year old gear, Scooter and a new drysuit? What’s next, shave the beard?

Hell would have to freeze over first

I was still using some of it, the stage and travel gas regs were 1974 Cyklons, and my sidemount tanks are 1977 PSTs

I think this algae was from last summer, mostly brown now, sticks to everything.
