I know a place in citrus county guarded by a drunk shotgun carrying woman that doesn't care what kind of car you drive...

We go by tree size and broken down and adbandoned (sp?) vehicles.

For example go past the white house and turn by the big tree just after the old red truck.

    Not very scientific approach.

I was hoping to download Sam Kinison onto mine. TURN LEFT! TURN LEFT! TURN LEFT!

I told you before Joe, I am not coming to your house for dinner.

Yoda, the other voice on my DumDum, scares the CRAP out of me! You're driving along, all peaceful and quiet, no other cars for miles, dark, alone, and suddenly LEFT YOU MUST TURN! Scares the CRAP out of me EVERY time!
Wow, my Magellan must be really old! It gives me a 2 mile warning before an action, then (sometimes) a 1 mile warning, and then a .5 mile warning, and then it says the action followed by a "Ding/Dong" (left) or "Dong/Ding" (right) etc. at the precise point at which I have to take the action.... Or a "Dong/Dong" for a keep left/right at a fork etc. I can't download specific voices for it but it does have both a male and female voice pre-programmed.

Sounds like you boys don't fit in w/ the locals

When I go, it's in my jacked up F250 CC 4x4, with "BEEF" license plate from the FL Cattlemen's Association, a "Putnam for Agriculture Commisioner" bumper sticker on the back window, with a hotshot and a coiled lariet hanging from the gun rack.

My Catahoula Leopard or Black Mouth Cur dog is either in the bed or the passenger seat.

If I need a dive trailer, I just pull my 20' aluminum gooseneck livestock trailer.

Instead of shorts, flip flops and a T-shirt, you just wear Wrangler's and boots for your pre and post dive attire.

Of course, it helps that I was born a redneck FL cracker and later became a cave diver!

As far as an address for Peacock, you could always use Cathy's and drive the last mile or two on your own: Dive Outpost, 20148 180th Street, Live Oak, Florida 32060

    Cheers,
    Jeff
Thanks for the address. Yes, I'm heading down this weekend. How about you? Last we talked you were doing deep dives in the lake.

Thanks, found it. It is Live Oak.

Both in Florida and in Vermont it has given us some interesting results. In Florida, it put us on a goat path with huge ruts that I was worried about getting through even with four wheel drive. It tries to send you by the shortest route - even if the "shortest" route is one mudhole after another, and the paved route is only a hundred yards longer.

I bought it just before leaving for Florida in early February, and immediately learned not to trust it. I turned it on when going down to the village to pick up the mail and it tried to send me over the mountain on a jeep road that's not plowed in winter and is used as a snowmobile trail.

Yeah, I've got the Fl Atlas. Thanks.

Anyone have a street address for either Peacock or Little River State Parks? Any nearby business address would work.

My Garmin never heard of Luraville.

    Help!
Its a work in (slow) progress....
