Aereolito, Cozumel

A quick dive report and thank you to those that maintain the line in the system.

Dove the system while in Cozumel last week. I ran the line to the mainline... thought I took a wrong turn as it has been two years since I dove the system but eventually saw the stop sign and then got tied in.

Enjoyed the run up the mainline watching all the wildlife. The number of stars and worms is just unreal. The halocline is fun too.

Jumped over to the sulfur river tunnel and went up that to wonderland. Love the sulfur river - the freshwater flowing over the salt is so cool and the underwater reverse waterfall is just awesome. Got into Wonderland a tad bit and had to turn.

I love diving this system, lots to see and explore.

MANY MANY thanks to whomever is relining the jumps. Nice new bright yellow and thick line seemed to be going down every side tunnel with nice looking line arrows. Very nice!

This system may be in some danger. Apparently the construction of the new marina caused a cave in somewhere in the system This system is full of life and an endemic species, it is a shame that portions of it are being destroyed

Thanks for the report. That is a neat system, my wife calls it a "winter wonderland"
