There are several abandoned granite mines in north GA that are filled with crystal clear (cold) water. The entrances have been filled in, but people have dug them out. I scouted one out years ago. It was huge with at least 4 passages. They used those huge rock moving dump trucks to haul the granite out. Yeah, the trucks with 10' diameter tires and two of them could pass in the main tunnel. The one we visited was empty and the walls were smooth with no where to tie off a line. We decided that the logistics of getting tanks in there, just to see smooth granite walls, was not worth the effort.

Like Eric said, if you would like to add sites to the Cave Atlas, please send them to me. I am MORE than happy to add.

You should divide the US up. It might be hard to find Missouri between Suwanee, and Gilchrist counties

The sort on Region would probably do it, assuming you add Missouri as the region.

I have actually been meaning to clean this up since I started adding sites in other countries. It should be clean now.

    I added a few sites from Missouri - http://www.caveatlas.com/cave_system...Missouri&co=US

On the main US list you will see the State under the Region column. If you click the name of the State, the list will be filtered to only show Missouri and will not show the County (Municipality).

Let me know what other changes you guys would like to see and what system you would like added.
