Diving virgin passage can be very rewarding but you must 1st. be willing to do a lot of planning, hard work, and sacrifice. Sometimes it feels more like work. In the end it's worth it.
Or have an acquaintance ask you to dive a cave on their property.
I notice I'm still the only one to answer the third option.

I am beginning to be really skeptical about this poll. It is hard to believe that 43% of the divers on thes forum have dived virgin *cave". I think OFG-1 is right, using the term "passage" has skewed the results
I think it would be great fun to swim some cave that nobody's ever dived before. Shoot, I get a kick out of diving lines where the amount of percolation and crud on the line tells me nobody's been there in a long time. (Usually that's because it's silty, small, not very pretty, and pinches out pretty quickly, but it's still fun.) The work involved in getting to cave no one has ever dived before is probably beyond me, but it's fun to dream about.
(Note the very careful phrasing.)
