9/11....... I remember .........
Twenty feet. And that's generous. My instructor would have called it ten.
From table rock I couldn't see where the line starts in the mud tunnel.
Whoever said money can't buy love never bought a puppy.
Ah Russell, you are just spoiled !!! You may have had an instructor that would have called that 10 ft of vis, but technically looking up from the very bottom of the cavern zone you could see the opening of the cavern above.....That's at least 70 feet of vis right there !!!!![]()

When I get out of cavediving, it will be to learn how to use a walkerFW
People have different methods of calculating visibility. Just because I can see light doesn't mean it's that much visibility. Not seeing the Mud Tunnel line from Table Rock tells me visibility wasn't that good. However, the way I calculate visibility is how far my buddy can be before I can no longer interpret a lit up hand signal. If we can't communicate from 20 feet apart then the visibility is less than 20 feet even if I can see my buddy's outline. It's a safety thing.

Well, y'all can quit picking on Russell, I was in LR this morning, and 20' would be generous, with a lot of particulate, and high flow. At least it is open.
