    I heard the chantix has worked really well for people. I smoked for about 10 years and stopped 12 years ago (wow, seems like yesterday). Good luck to whomever tries to quit. It was really hard for me, but I didn't have the chantix and stuff that they have now.

    bob b quit using that, and he was definitely a hard-core smoker for years.

    I suspect I know what you mean, but "quit using that" might mean the Chantix wasn't working, so he quit using it.

    The pain that goes along with having an artery blocked 99% works pretty good too! Have not wanted a cigarette since last July 6. Although I hope others find an easier means of quitting, ya gotta go with what works

    I quit cold turkey. The Doc telling you that you are going to die will give you motivation to stick it out. Hardest and best thing I ever did. The last time I went to the Doc. they said that my lungs looked and sounded like I never smoked. That is a beautiful thing.
