We got a trip coming up in 2 weeks. What does it look like down there? Peacock, Little River going to be open?

Last week in High Springs I overheard someone comment that it could take Little River a year to truly clear up. Now certainly this was not meant to mean it would take a year for it to be diveable again but for it to really 'clear' from all the mess???
I listened in with horror on all these predictions, and just decided to enjoy the fact that flow in Ginnie and Manatee was down as much as it was

Tracy & I just finished up a great cave diving trip, even though several of the places we usually dive are flooded.
We made Dive Outpost our base of operations as always, and even though Peacock, Little River, Cow, Madison, and Telford were flooded, we did a lot of diving. Ginnie, Manatee, and Jug Hole were in great shape. We also went out to Marianna for a couple days, shared a trailer and a boat with FW, and dove Jackson Blue, Twin, and Hole in the Wall. No problem getting all the great diving we wanted. So if you're wanting to go cave diving, don't let a little high water dissuade you! Manatee in particular had the best visibility and lowest flow we've seen there.
Mike
PS: Thanks Jeano, FW, & Cathy!
