    Default Stolen drysuit

My wife had her drysuit stolen recently after sending it to get the seals fixed. It was taken from our pourch after being left by UPS. Please give me a call if you hear of someone selling a small pinacle evolution drysuit.

    Thanks

Might keep an eye on the local pawn shops. I suspect whoever stole it had no idea what was in the box, just saw it as an opportunity. A woman's drysuit is not something with a lot of quick sale potential on the street so a thief will take to it some place where they can get at least a few dollars for it. That has been my experience with this type of scum.

    Thanks,

I called some of the local shops and asked them to keep a look out for it.

What does UPS have to say? What was the insured value? If you stated in the delivery contract that "No signature required" was acceptable then you have no recourse, but otherwise you can probably file a claim.

Often, if you jump up and down politely they'll just pay the insured value rather than deal with the nuisance of it all.

They are going to try to find it and do a police report. It probably didn't have much insurance on it so hopefully we don't have to buy another one.

Ed... First thing, you don't KNOW UPS delivered anything. The signature release works both ways.

UPS had a rash of drivers stealing items and claiming they were delivered... FedEx as well.

Also, there is a minimum amount that EVERY package is insured for with UPS at no extra cost to the shipper, find out for sure.

    Good luck.
