Talking Heard a song on the radio today...

So, Shirley, is there any truth to the country song that asserts, "Tequila makes her clothes fall off!"?

    Interrupting the thread:

Went to Little River this morning (01/23)

Turned the dive in the parking lot.

The basin was very tanic and perfectly still.
I couldn't even see the top of the stone wall.
Water covered the bottom 4 steps on the wooden stair (bottom set)

No syphon yet , but with the rate the river rose today and the rain tomorrow (yuck) , it's probably toast now.

    Back to your regular thread.

    Thanks!

    Default Peacock?

The way the Suwannee is rising right now I'm guessing even Peacock is at risk of going under.....

What does all this mean for my course that is due to start on the 6th of February? Is there a risk that it will be a total wash out? I am hoping that a good instructor will always know of somewhere to dive...

Ginnie/Devil's will hold out quite a while. The Millpond will still be diveable, as well, I'd bet. You may want to check directly with your instructor, since it looks like you might be traveling a ways.

Shirley you're not serious? No, I'm not, but do stop calling me Shirley.

    Doesn't look good

Water starts into the slough at 26' in Luraville, and it is 26.5' right now....

Check with your instructor. There's nothing that can be done if all the caves are blown out. Standards require a certain number of systems be used during training. While Devil's might be okay, it's only one system. Like mentioned, there is the Mill Pond, but not all instructors are familiar enough with those systems to conduct training here.

    Default LR Blown

Water up to middle landing at LR last night. Lots of seepage in Peacock. Loads more rain last night. Keep your eyes on the river level on the Suwannee River Water Management District site.

This lets you know where it is rising and when it will crest.
    Sigh.
