Comon man, still lots of stuff to dive :P

To many cave divers who have seen years of drought this is unfamiliar territory. Usually spring was the time that I put the gear away,and took up other activities. Perhaps we are returning to a normal weather pattern. To some this stinks because caves get blown,to me it is great,because the influx of organic material "heals" the caves,and rain charges the aquifer for better diving.

I'm glad to ssee it, too, for the healing it does. I'm also glad I live near systems that don't blow out like the rest of them...

I dove Twin and Hole in the Wall today. I didn't notice any condition changes due to the overnight and morning rains. Did change plans for a river diver, but headed to JB tomorrow, expect more of the same.....

What is this salt you speak of?

It is fairly rare, but you see it in some of the bluehole caves, mostly in places like the Bahamas. Also below the halocline in Mexico. I have heard it is in some of the larger headpools, like the Atlantic, and Pacific.
