    Default Forecast for conditions

We got hammered last night. Tallahassee saw 2 inches of rain in 2 hours. Roads were flooded everywhere. Jackson County had road closures and a road collapse (no, not a new sink unfortunately). More rain coming this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if Madison and Telford are already blown with LR following soon. Is there going to be a repeat of last year with Peacock going too?

Telford "blew" weeks ago. Madison had cleard out some, but it is blown again as well. It will take two more feet of rise to get Peacock, tough.

To many cave divers who have seen years of drought this is unfamiliar territory. Usually spring was the time that I put the gear away, and took up other activities. Perhaps we are returning to a normal weather pattern. To some this stinks because caves get blown,to me it is great, because the influx of organic material "heals" the caves, and rain charges the aquifer for better diving.

Russell,I am surprised at you, since you are an educator in Georgia. The grammer rule is if you are going to use AIN'T and NOTHING in the same sentance, then the correct form is NUTT'IN

    Default Ginnie

I just returned home from a dive at Ginnie. Big room was very milky around the White Room, main line to the Henkel was clear for the most part, Hill 400 was clear. River appears to be up about a foot+(step and a half on the stairs) from last week. My rain gauge had 5 inches of water in it when I returned home

I hear that docs say salt is bad for your health... thus I avoid it as much as possible...
