Default Shaving cream as anti fog?

Anybody ever try this? I saw on an infomercial on handyman secrets and it was said to be a great home remedy for fogged windows.

Just about everybody who's been around awhile knows Johnson's Baby Shampoo is the best defog available, but I got into trouble for not using the $4.95/bottle junk we sell. So I collect empty Sea Drops bottles from around the pool area and put JBS in them. I'm happy and the shop owner's happy.

I'd think that shaving cream would be a bit rough on the mucous membranes around the eyes...

My thoughts exactly! forget to rinse it all and you're done diving for a while. Shaving cream will do in latex drysuit seals.

He knows, and approves. As long as the customers see me putting stuff in my mask that comes from a Sea Drops bottle.

Mark's right, too, that shaving cream will irritate your eyes. That's another benefit of the JBS.
