Well CB is good right now but if you dont mind the dive in 58* water and haveing to deco in 42* water not that bad. RBD is clear, well 3 days ago it was, I drove bye and took a look. In Feb we should be clearing up even more and CB will be nothing but coolder in the lake.
RBD will be great but then you already ahve done that. If you can fit, I can take you into Boiling Springs. Plan to hit that a few times end of this month and some next after I get back from Coz in a few weeks.
If you like, we can hit RBD again and if your lucky, and we hit it on a weekend, I bet I could get a buddy make it, my RB builder, and I will bring sorb for you.

This is sort of third or fourth hand information, but I believe it is accurate. Cal said that Heidi said that Ed and Ernie dove Cannonball within the last week or two and Ed said that the vis was the best he had ever seen there. You might PM Ed if you want better info. Darren
Seems Ed says that after every dive.
RBD area and CB area are now going to be gbetting some heavy wintger storms. They also forget to mention that the lake water for CB is going nto be in the 42* and colder temps. Not that bad but after spending about an hour in 58* water and working up kind of a sweat, that 42* can be truly cold.
When you think you might make it, let me know, I even have a nice SM cave to take yo uin this year. I think you will like it. We can get 2 or 3 dives in it if you like. Your KISS might make it. Imight even try to let you get time to dive with a R&D employeee for KISS if he has time.

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to make it.

What other cave systems are divable to the public in missouri? I know about RBD and CB. Hopefully I can get a trip down there this summer.
As of last Sunday, Vis in the cave was 25 feet. Temp in the lake was 54, cave temp was 57.. That changes with the weather.. The lake being as shallow as it is changes with the weather. I am sure it is colder than that as the weather once again has changed. Just try not to decoin the lake.
Awsome Ed, but I bet with the storm it will change, LOL but then remember the times we had 50+ of vis with all them divers and HID's to light up the full rooms.
Awindurst, Boiling Springs both 1 on the piney and 1 on the Gasconade are open to public diving if you can find them and are SM diver. Then there are a fw I have access to that are not but conditioins are not good for them.

Only 6 inches of snow means only a half inch of water. Should not affect the system too much...
