Comne one, be tough like a true cave diver. Colder then that up here and we dive colder caves and the winter does not stop us, if we can drive there we dive.
Why wine about air temps, just dive and be warmer. Lets try this do a cave dive in 58* cave water and have to deco in 48* lake water. Now that is fun. NOT.

I moved to FL from OR so I "was" used to diving in cold water w/ dry suits. When I moved to FL, I thought "no more dry suits!" and sold all my dry suit gear ... then I took up cave diving ... OOPS.
I find that hard part is not so much getting in the water as it is getting out. For multiple dives in a day, I might suggest a couple sets of 1 mil skins. At least I can put a dry one on each time I suit up and the actual wet suit is more bearable.
That said, after diving a week ago, I told my wife I was getting another dry suit
OH yeah I miss those ME, they were a hoot and we all had fun in the cold.
Oh seems when I would hit the mill pond in the spring it would be cold or even sleet. I said it was due to the swiss and and the cunuks that were in the area, thats my story and Im sticking to it.

Here's your alternative ....

I just got back from a great week of cave diving in Florida. A few days last week were pretty cold for Florida, but the water feels oh-so-nice when the air is cold.
All this talk about how cold it is getting this week makes the below and near zero stuff I came home to a little less tough to take![]()
