Does anyone know the level of the Suwannee River at which Peacock and LR become not divable? Just curious with the levels rising this week.

Does anyone know what things are looking like now and what the prospect is for diving this weekend?

I was at LR on Sunday..there was no flow and the viz was great.
both were good over the weekend.
Is Soviet way, is good.
Unfortunatly, no-flow is the step right before reversal
It does make for some nice diving, while it lasts.
I just looked at the river level graph, and the Suwanee is still rising. It has crested upstream, but not at Luraville, or Branford. The worst part is it is still rising at Pinetta, which means Madison will stay floodes for awhile. The Withlacoochee adds to the Suwanee too.
I noticed there is a new river gauge, right at Madison. It doesn't appear to be online, yet.
So the chances of taking an intro class at LR and peacock the 28th and 29th are pretty much slim to none?

There is no limit. We'll always find a way to go deeper and deeper. That's been the pattern all along.

dang. before I even got to dive orange grove with a clear basin![]()
We had some great dives at LR couple of weeks ago because flow was down. Actually got some 'dives' in on Intro level because all effort didn't go into getting down. Madison too was nice and mellow.
Now I worry about these talks. Is this normal this time of year? Last year it sure was quite different in Nov. Does this mean something odd is going to be happening in Jan/Feb and places are going to be undivable?
