Thanks Phil.
FYI, I would recommend tying off in OW, and do a wrap on the pin, in case the river gets even higher while you are in there.
Thanks all for the updates. I had to extend my work here till Christmas Eve. Had a few minutes to check the forum. Glad to hear that the systems so far are doing much better than my first thoughts, which puts some of my worries to rest. Soon, Cave Country, here I come!!!
FYI As of today, troy spring is closed because of the river level.
Today 12-22, LR is reported to be tanic well into the cavern. I didn't dive there, but I will go look tomorrow.
Peacock was nice and clear today. Even basin was pretty clear, I'd say atleast 10-15 feet of viz. Cave only got slightly milky a few feet behind my buddy's fins....(just kidding!) Lots of divers there too!
I am diving Peacock today. The "locals" say the river will have to rise a foot or more to get into the slough, so Peackcock should be good for at leat a couple of weeks.
hip hip hooray! we'll be there next week!
proud cave tourist!
Any insight from the "locals" on Cow and Telford?
