I have a suggestion, call American Water Sports of Virginia (703) 534-3636. Ask for Harrison Starn. Then ask him to measure Lloyd Bridges wetsuit

His father was a Sea Hunt fan, and bought the wetsuit for the dive shop. He also knew a bunch of inside stories from the production of the series. Tell Harrison that Forrest Wilson said hello.

    Forrest Wilson (with 2 Rs)

Have you ever been in a tilt house? Usually tourist traps located around real tourist destinations. (yes, I was at one when I was 9yo) Anyway, it shows a man and woman standing side by side, one view she's taller, the other view he's taller. Their feet are in the same position. It's all the angle of what is around those subjects that throws off your perception. Tilt houses have been around for years and years....so it's not out of the question that the method hasn't been used in film.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world; those who are good at math, and those who are not.

According to this web page, he is 6' tall (no idea how accurate it is).

Since the guy bought a wetsuit, it has to be Lloyd Bridge's wetsuit? There's no possibility that someone ripped him off? Maybe the suit is Lloyd Brudge's wetsuit

I'm not saying it's not true, I'm saying the argument is weak unless Harrison Starn is Lloyd's brother or something.

Someone please call him though. Now I am intrigued.

    Chris

Reminds me of the John Voit car George Castanza bought on Seinfeld.

That's the same site that lists Kevin Costner as 6'1" tall - which conflicts with my knowledge of the man.

Which is not to say Bridges is short, just that the internet is not exaclty 100% reliable.

Looks like we are going to have to exhume the body and measure the remains to definitively settle this one.

And the Braves Media Guide listed Rafael Belliard as 5'8".

You have more knowledge than anyone I have ever met.

    Its' expensive knowledge.

I like most of Costner's movies and his parents are nice folks as they have a house near where I used to live for 15 years, but he came to town with plans to build a really big hotel and casino, stuck the local home owners in Lead and Deadwood with a 3 million dollar bill for a sewer pipe to nowhere, then backed out on the deal. His brother Dan operates a smaller casino nearby (Midnight Star in Deadwood) and Kevin would blow into town a few times a year in his Gulfstream 3 now and then go around with a fairly sizable entourage. (you can fit a lot of people in a G3.) The first time he flew in, the plane sank about 6 inches into the asphalt parking ramp at Clyde Ice Field (a pretty small airport with no air carrier service), so there is now a concrete section for it to park on. I am not 100% sure and no one is talking, but I suspect the county tax payers paid for that little addition.

In my opinon, he is less nice in person than in the movies and despite the personal bias and the large entourage that prevents standing back to back with him, I am pretty sure is more like 5'6" than 6'0.

Plus he has several movie costumes hanging in Diamond Lil's, and they either shrunk a lot at the cleaners or he is really short.

Of course, maybe he just looks short standing in the ruts his Gulfstream III made.

I met Jeff Bridges in Dallas when he was either filming Texasville or just finishing filming it in mid to late 1990. I'm 6'1". He was about the same height. I know that there can be some differences between generations, but typically the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
