    Default History of IANTD/TDI?

    I have two questions:

    1. Can anyone recommend a forum for Tec Diving in general that is not necessarily specific to Cave Diving? I have questions about wrecks and mixed gas that may not be for this site.

    2. Does anyone know the history of the formation of TDI? What I hear is that two directors at IANTD with differing views (on what?) went seperate ways. One of them formed TDI. I'd like to understand what drove them apart, whether it was on views related to technical diving, the instruction of technical diving, or something else and specifically what. Google hasn't turned up much...

    Thanks,

    Peter

Yeah, TheDecoStop.com is definitely one of the big sites for tech diving talk. RebreatherWorld is interesting too but is obviously a little rebreather centric.

Everyone spends the first nine months of life in water. The lucky ones make frequent return visits.
