I thought the cave conditions were nice but on the surface was a bunch of clumps of something floating around that looked like cow turds and smelled worse. I know it was some kind of algae, and I also noticed more algae than Ive ever seen growing on the rocks in the basin. I guess the nitrates are higher in there than ever because I dont remember it being like that and i first dove it in 85. The cave is what counts of course and it did look good.
