My wife Li has a Nursing Conference in Washington Dc and so I went diving. (She has nicknamed me D.B.D.W. Dirty Bastard Dive #####). She states that I will dive with just about anybody. She's a little jealous but who can blame her.
So today I did a solo dive at Ginnie. Dove the Meg CCR with a Setpoint of 1.2 with a max depth of 96' and dive time of 95 minutes.
Crowds were non-existence. A few other teams diving.
Jumped into the water started mounting my bailout bottles. Went to turn on my Primary light and nothing..............
Noticed that my Dive Rite HID 1000 which I totally love diving with has a problem with the bulb rattling loose.............
So I did what any diver would do in my position and offered 10,000 dollars for a primary light.
A couple of divers were going to scrap their dive just to sell their light when Evelyn Dudas came to the rescue with a spare primary and was even going to swap out the 10 watt HID head with a HID 1000.
So a world of thanks to Evelyn Dudas for saving the day.
Visibility was great with a jump off to Hill 400 and down to 1000' line arrow and a jump off to the left followed by a jump to the right. You just can't bring enough reels to Ginnie.
Flow seemed up but it has been months since I had been to Ginnie.
Dropped the light off over at Wes Skiles' place and headed to Dinner.
