27W Update... I fired the LED up last night and learned a $50 lesson. In a rush to try to get it fired up I burned one of them up. ouch! I got another one fired up and was very disappointed with the results. The relflector I am using gives too much flood. SO now it's back to the drawing board to see what happens.

In the mean time, manufacturing of about 8 12W has begun.
    Thanks

By "too much flood" do you mean the central spot is too wide? I certainly don't mind some "spill" off to the side, so you don't feel like you are in a black well. A narrow central spot is hard to get from a LED, especially a bright one, since the array is so large. Any word on the Osram 20W elements?

The 20W took a back seat for now. Good news, though, I have an Osram rep that is local and meeting him tomorrow for product guidance etc... More news on that as they develop.

The 27W does not even have a central spot with the reflector I tried. It's all flood so for now a DUD!!! I'm working on tightening it up. Need some reflectors and I am on e-mail with a few manufacturers.

Are you making anymore of the 12W lights at the $450 price?
(is this a complete package including charger?)

Approx what kind of burn time do they have?

    Thanks,

    Ron

    What he said...

I know you sold the originals, what price do you have on them now ?

Yes, I am actually making 8 more. 4 of which are spoken for. Still $450. Estimated burn time is 4-5 hours. Just bought a battery analyzer that should prove the theoretical burn time.
    Thanks

For video, I have a special project that I am working on using some floody 33 Watt leds I just bought. My dive shop owner wants a set for her Ocean Systems housing and I will be working on those as well. That is a work in progress though and should be done I hope in a month or so... This light will be 2 lights that will slide into the OS housing mounting points.
