LOL!!! I knew that was coming sooner or later! I'm not saying anything about that as they have been good for my business. I have to say cavediver and scubaboard members have supported me very well!
Rest assured next time I will post the pictures correctly.
Hey, they do have a tech diving section!!!
Hector
Hector,
I got home today and finally got to look at the light I got from you.
I must say that I am pleased with what I see, great workmanship.
I can't wait to try it out in the water.
I just want to say Hector is a pleasure to buy from and offers a good product at a very fair price.

Any update on the 27 w led or is it still a work in progress. Hoping to be over in april so hopefully you will have it sorted by then
thanks again

For those who dont know, I bought one of Hector's first canisters, sans head.
I really didnt like any of the spair heads i had, so when he mentioned doing a 10w HID, I jumped at it.
Well, those 2 parts are finally together. I couldnt ask for better craftmanship or 'customer service'.
here is a pic of the final product, It will have to wait to get in the water, since I am going on a non-diving vacation with my wife's Family, unless there is diving in Vegas!
Thank you again,
Scott

Damn Scott!! That almost looks like I put it together! Looks good.
Here's another update. Went to the CNC machine shop today and picked up my first 14 canisters. They turned out really nice. Now we are working on the heads.
OK, guys, you have been asking for this and here it is... Pictures of the 12W vs 10W vs 12WHID...
The 10W LED wins on tightness
The 12W LED wins on brightness... but not by much
The 12W HID wins the bluest color award! Actually it really doesn't look as blue as it does on the picture, but it definitely is bluer than the LEDs.
All pics taken on a point and shoot Sony at about 15 feet distance... These were not taken at 3 feet like some do to show a really tight spot...

Update on things...
So after another "quiet" period on the forums, I have finally caught up in production. The last three lights are in the mail. This will make 14 units sold.
Now the focus is shifting to the CNC machined units. I have the canisters done and waiting on the heads to be done sometime this week. After this, hard coat anodizing followed by a vacation to see my family from the 10th - 17th...
Thanks to everyone for your support. These new units are going to be really consistent and much better in finish and quality. Of course price will go up, but still be cheaper than the other options?
I will post pics of a completed unit soon. One unit has already been spoken for.
