    Update on things:
The new CNC machined canisters and heads are on the way. Planning on full blown Type III Hardcoat anodizing. Parts should be in in a few weeks. These will all be the Cree MCE based lights with a Luxdrive driver. They will look like pic #2 with a smooth cap!

I am currently working on 5 more lights that should ship out in a few days. This will make 11 total sold so far.

    Thanks
    Hector

Very happy to report my Cree LED performed flawlessly and I had no problem crossing beams with my dive partner's Light Monkey 10 watt LED (LM is slightly bluer in color). Dove with Dean (met here on CDF) who has a 35 watt HID... OK, that was a different story! Can't say enough about Hector's attitude and service. I butt mounted this on my armadillo and he is going to lengthen the cord to accommodate this at no cost... you can't ask for better service that what Hector offers.

Dove the B line on Mayan Blue and took the jump to the end of the E line. Nice dive. Then Dean showed me Chen Hol... wow! Amazing cave. Tight squeeze for a short stocky guy! (That would not be Dean in the dive team...) 3 hours in the water and I never noticed the beam dimming at all. The light cuts the water very well. Thanks Hector!

As a pastor I am amazed that some of my best communions with God are when I am in the underworld!

35W HID??? WOW. No shame in that!
Glad it worked great for you. I'll take care of the cord for you.
Thanks for the great review. Oh, and let me know when you are ready for a 35W, I'm sure I can do something for you... lol!

to quote the post (not from me):
"Here are some beam shots the picture on the left is a Light Cannon that was allowed to warm up for about 5 minutes. The Picture on the right is a shot of Hector's P7 light. The shots were taken with a Canon 30D with no auto adjusting for white balance. As everyone knows the Light Cannon uses a Welsh Allen 10 Watt HID."

    The brighter one is Hector's.
(sorry for stealing the pics, just thought people would like to see them without becoming a member of another site. )
