Shove it on local boards, like socaltech, SDtech, and equivalents elsewhere. Basically propagate the hell out of it.

    Try this board

There are quite a few of us cave divers here in NC.

    BTW, survey completed!

What a sad day! The OW responses were lagging behind three fold, but in the past day and a half, they have managed to pass the cave diver responses! I now have 85 open water responses, and only 73 cave diver responses. The more responses I get, the more meaningful my data. This weekend, I'll see if I can get the survey placed somewhere where people who don't use the internet might be able to respond.

I was getting so many responses every day, but I've capped out at 94... I know there are more than 94 cave divers out there, and my professor requires 100 responses for me to write my paper...

Just explain the central limit theorem to him. Bill

Damn Bill you know that there is nothing at all normal when making inferences about the population of cave divers. bh

Every time I bumped this thread, I'd get a few more responses Earlier today, I had 106, which is enough to please my professor, and hopefully enough to compare to a similarly sized group of non cave certified divers, to see if I can make any statistically significant conclusions about what drives risk perception about cave diving.

Sorry about the wait, I had to get permission from the IRB on campus to publish the results.
