    Default All that rain?

Just wondering if all that rain in the catchment area up north is going to be a problem in a few weeks in Florida? Looks like Georgia is getting pretty well pounded, as are the states around it. Hope the caves (and the dive-related businesses in FL) are spared.

Rebreathers are something that we have to go to in order to dive the way we want to dive. They are not something we go to for any other reason.

With the amount of rain we are getting, I can't see how it will NOT affect the rivers and probably springs.

It looks like most of the rain in GA is in the north west. That runoff goes down the west side of FL, so it may not effect the Santa Fe, or Suwanee. Might be a problem for caves in the panhandle, though.

Forrest is right. Atlanta is part of the Chattahoochee basin which drains down to the west of Tallahassee (Appalachicola River).

Looks like you need rain in the Ochlockonee or Suwanee basin (both in the very south part of Ga) to flood rivers that might impact the caves near the I-10/I-75 intersection.

The shoals are there still, the winds howl loud, the rain beats down, the waves burst strong. Some night, in the chill darkness, someone will make a mistake: The sea will show him no mercy. John T. Cunningham

Most of the rivers I dive in the panhandle spiked quick, but they're already leveling off or dropping back down. None of them spiked to the point of blowing much of anything out.
