FS: Scubapro Mk20 G250HP Regs

I have several Scubapro Mk20 G250HP DIN regulators for sale. All are in excellent condition. $225.00 each.

Are these from before or after the MK20 recall?

I dont think the recall on the MK20's affects the DIN version as it is the yoke retaining nut being over tightened during servicing that causes the problem. I guess if these were originally yoke regs then they could have been damaged during servicing per the recall. Its worth looking into prior to purchasing a DIN MK 20. Probably many were converted from YOKE to DIN for tech and cave use.

DIN is part of the recall as well. The three slotted plastic saddle between the reg body and handwheel is the old style. With the upgrade of the DIN tube the saddle is changed to one that only has two slots. Extreme Exposure did the repairs on all ten of my MK20's under this recall.

Even with the old parts there really is no issue unless you are using a 3 foot cheater pipe on the end of your wrench.

I have not had the update done since I haven't been worried about over tightening. I have done all my own services (certified SP tech). The update can be done free of charge at any time
