i thought you'd like to read about diving up here, a vicarious dive, since the fates decided to keep you home this weekend!

And the rains that came yesterday afternoon and last night (not to mention the ones brewing today) have probably eliminated the excellent viz of yesterday morning. Major downpour yesterday as I left Guy James, turning the road to mud again.

I am just jealous, since Guy James was on my list for today
From what you said about rain, it wouldn't have been very good today anyway.

Huh- that sounds nice- perhaps, with all of my week days off this week, if I can finish the compressor, I will come down and dive....hmmm.... Damn compressor

jason! welcome back to the states. the rain is coming down again today, but if there's not too much and it dries up the next couple of days....

i left about 300 feet of goldline in tied off and ready for anyone to finish off the spool, plus I have a handful of marked line arrows and a tape measure.... i also seem to recall you saying something about needing to finish up some survey work before we can pull the knotted survey line.

    Your radiator is plastic?????

Well, at least it sounds like no one was hurt. And now I don't feel so bad about missing the trip.

Yep, most newer cars have plastic radiators. the center part (tubes, fins, etc.) are metal, but the tanks are plastic, "protected" by a plastic bumper

Skip- dropped by Guy James and Cow Crap today (Monday 7Sep) both were spanking clear. That motivated me to dive on Wed or Thursday with Marbry (depending on his schedule)- However, my compressor has a cracked first stage cylinder, which I just discovered, and have to replace before I can fill tanks- can I arrange with you to fill tanks the middle of this week- and are you interested in diving either location? Evenings are most likely alright, but I would prefer during the day. I would like to dive at Guy James and do the sketching in the front of the cave, and at Cow Crap, do some downstream.
