I was diving P1 Saturday afternoon and found a piece of gear in the cavern. Describe it and if it is yours I will get it back to you.

Under the rocks, and stones; there is water underground" Talking Heads
How about a black DR jump reel with red arrows painted on it?
Your reel is with Ron at the Outpost
This might not be so PR question but I slip it in here. I would assume that if one finds something in cave country and one is not local, one can fairly safely leave found stuff in pretty much any cave shop for divers to pick up? Or are there any shops that are not "friendly" that way? I am asking because I know from experience that we have local shops that cannot be trusted. (Yes, you leave stuff with them and they tend to end up the shop's property or they just do not want to deal with being a service station...)
Not being local and just recently (elsewhere) finding something on our last day of diving, this came to mind. Due to the nature of the question if there are some known shops to avoid, drop me a PM. Or just put the clean list here publicly.
You can be confident the gear will be kept for its owner is you leave it at Amigos, Dive Outpost or Cave Excursions (original and East). Beyond those I don't know.
I would add Cave Adventurers to that list. There are some other dive shops in nFL that if the owner offers you a secured investment, RUN.
Is Soviet way, is good.
