    Default Wings

I think I already know the answer but......I want to start diving bp and wing, is there a wing out there that works with single tanks and doubles?

yes, there are several that are able to "convert" but realize that anything that doesn't "specialize" may not be the best at any one thing.
Are you sure that's what you want?

Most people would advise against using one wing for both singles and doubles. However I use an OMS 32lb wing for singles and with double aluminum 80's. anything bigger and its going to need bungees to work with single tanks (probably).

You should be able to find 2 used wings for the price of some new wings anyway.

How about one BP and two wings (or BC bladders)? I dive an Oxycheq 50 for doubles and a Halcyon Eclipse 30 with single tank adaptor (STA) for singles. To comment on quality, I feel the Oxycheq wing is much better quality than the Halcyon and would take a look at Oxycheq's singles BC bladders. Both types of BC bladders can be found used on the market.

OxyCheq does have kick butt singles bladders. Doubles too (although that is hard to mess up), but the singles is top notch above others.

Do you not have a decent singles BC? A good BC is much more comfortable than a BP/wing. The only thing it won't do is prove how manly you are.

(That was a crack at all the people who dive a BP/wing with a single cylinder.)

DiveRite Rec Wing can, but life is much better IMO with a separate singles and doubles wing.

I used a Dive rite Trek wing and a single tank adaptor with a Steel backplate. I use Zeagle weight pockets. Works well about a hundred dives on it.

    Hope this helps
