When I spoke with Cathy at Dive Outpost earlier this week she said that the river was up and Madison was under. No update since Monday.

Sorry, no first hand knowledge at this time.

I dove Madison on Monday (Call 850 971 5003 and they will let you know if it is open for diving), the flow was decent (lower than JB, higher than peacock) and visibility was 30ft to 40 ft all the way back to Rocky Horror. The depth was 5 to 10ft deeper than the map as the water level in the basin is up. There is silt on the rocks throughout the system, and some of the lines in the side tunnels are buried under sand (along with their tie offs). It was worth the drive over for 2 dives.

This made me chuckle... I read it as greater than zero but less than infinity.

thanks for the reports but i have a big microbiology test coming up so i won't be able to dive this weekend.

ARY told me today its open and vis was down quite a bit. He did not go too far as he only went to the start of Rocky Horror. I posting for him as his home computer bit the dust.

The mainline is in a deep sand mound for a 10-15' in at least 2 locations.
