    I would like to hear anyone's opinion on this subject, and keep in mind that I did not get this old being foolhardy or thin skinned either for that matter. If you feel strongly either way... let me have it.

    There are several popular instructors pushing the 60ish age. My favorite dive "buddy" is 51 and plans to dive more when he retires then he does now. I wouldn't worry especially if your healthy and active.
