    Default Change in River levels

Went to Valdosta GA today the Withlachoochee River in
Valdosta is out of her banks again, Its a section of the
river that looks like a creek that we cross.
At 129N Bridge near Suwannee Springs the Suwannee River
has come up. I know that the Okeefeeknee Swamp
had gotten some rain a few days.
Time will tell if this will have any affect on the systems.
I looked at the Suwannee River Water Management Water Levels
    they have come up some.

But the good news is that north Florida got a lot of that rain, so the aquifer isn't as low as it was before the flood, and should hold it's own this time.

Talked to Cathy at Dive Outpost today and she says that they've (you've) had 6" of rain in the last 4 days, so the river is up a little and Madison is out. She says that Peacock is so-so, but divable, Cow OK, Ginnie OK (of course), and she's waiting for a today's report on Little River.

We're thinking about driving down this week, so any other news?

BTW, you guys living in Florida thought about planting rice?

Rebreathers are something that we have to go to in order to dive the way we want to dive. They are not something we go to for any other reason.

Not anywhere near ready for planting rice. There is such a huge deficit in the aquifer, it could rain steady for weeks, and we would be ok. It impacts the caves a bit, but in the overall scheme of things, not a big deal. I'd much rather have the aquifer fully charged, and the caves iffy for a while.

Leon Sinks are pushing nothing but tannic water. Some of the other sinks are apparently divable over there though.

Mill Pond is very divable with great conditions in all the systems at the moment.

Some of the higher flowing caves along the panhandle rivers are also still very divable.

Dove peacock on saturday. Ya, it is divable......but...... if your looking for good vis, look elseware. We dove the Cisteen curcut, and vis was about 20-30 inches. The good news was the line was very visable, because it had 3 inches of grass and debries on it. The section from Cisteen to the main line (Olsen sink side) has some old 48 pound line on it. It is in very good shape as are the very scarce line arrows. Think I'll try it again this weekend...Ken
