    I talked to the widow of the surviving diver tonight. Her children are grown (ages 38 and 40), and she has remarried (the incident was 36 years ago). She still goes to my church, and is friends with my mother.

    She doesn't see any need to be interviewed for the book, but when I finish the draft of the chapter concerning this incident, she'll read it and then add what she deems appropriate.

    (Reading that first paragraph, she's a widow because the diver who survived committed suicide a year later, probably out of grief for his friends.)

    Default research

    Do not forget about The Library of Congress. If you have some free time there is no better place on Earth to do research. If people email you references that you can not locate they are there. Worth the trip to D.C. just to sit in the middle of all of those books.

    They need to put it all online, so you don't have to travel to look stuff up

    For pure research, yes, but nothing outside of a cave beats just being IN that place.

    Unhappy search

    @ slüdge

    sorry, I somehow messed the design and my webmaster is busy doing other things.

    you have to scroll down and find the "Leseprobe" on the right side of the menu. (It should be on top of the page but???)
    Yes it´s all in German, but if interested I could translate.

    You can also click the other headlines
    I added english terms and I´m posting all new stuff in german and english!
    The website is online for only two months now, but I´m trying to improve

    @Omicron

    great to see German speaking Höhlertaucher are out there

    @all

    I´m interested in stories, pics and everything cave diving related for the website, who is interested in sharing and posting for the German cave diving society?
