Ginnie Springs open for diving and all activities
Ownership has asked me to let everyone know that Ginnie is open for all activities including diving! The tarp has been installed, a temporary permanent line has been installed in the Eye.... All looks good for your diving and enjoyment for at least the next 4 days..... Thursday night we will do another update....... Again, Ginnie is open today, and every day for your diving or other activities at this time.
Just left Ginnie. The Run is up a couple of feet, I am 6'3" and can just barely stand on the bottom at the little devils stairway. The Ear is tannic, but the Eye is good to go for now. It is a little dusty/milky in the cave, and the flow is waaaayyyy down, as to be expected.
More to follow, as I have plans to dive Ginnie a few times this week.

Had a long swim up the gold line back to the henkel this morning. Very little flow. Worst vis I have ever seen @ Ginnie. Still not bad though. Didn't feel much like Ginnie...very strange and slow on the way out. Thought there would be a lot more people. Only saw two divers past the keyhole.
Thanx Connie for the update. My annual pass will get a workout this spring.
