All great pictures, thank you.

I see the Suwanee has already crested at Ellaville, and starting to crest at Dowling park. It might not crest as high as first predicted (crossing fingers).
Stopped by Branford, Dive Outpost, Cathedral, and Falmouth this morning. We ran into the Florida DOT taking a manual measurement on the Hwy 27 bridge in Branford. The DOT said the Suwannee had come up one more foot in the last 24 hours. Cathy is doing ok at Dive Outpost. The river is pumping out of Luraville Spring and the water is about 500-600’ behind the dive shop. This is not the actual edge of river flood line but water from the Luraville Spring. Ron at Dive Outpost checked the water at the Luraville bridge and it is at about 46’ and Cathy reports the dive shop and her home are at an evaluation of 50’. Cathy did take the time to pick up all the stuff in the dive shop and move it onto tables and onto the showcases but it looks like she is going to be ok. traveler took some great photos of Cathedral and Falmouth yesterday. The Cathedral water level is about halfway up the sink (the lower deck is covered) and the water in the basin might even be close to 100’ across. Be careful if you go to Cathedral. A big tree fell on Sheck’s electrical line and line has separated from the main feed from the power pole. Falmouth is flowing so fast there is noticeable boil on the downstream side and on the upstream side the cave system has a vortex with spinning logs from such a strong siphon. So for now the downstream side is actually the upstream side and vice versa. The local fish and game officers said they had to rescue someone who tried to canoe the Suwannee yesterday.

Ya wounder if this might "flush" out the Falmouth system and make it more diveable in a few months....
when I drove by today it looked OK so far. Luraville was at 46.5 ft today when I left,
supposed to crest at 48.6 but I heard some lady saying it rained in GA again. hopefully she's imagining it.
floods are now extending north almost to 168th st, I tried to take the shortcut to 168 today but I had to back up almost a mile... now that was fun....
anyhow... had to return to Miami and keep fingers crossed,
LL
