    Default Spring Lake, Fisheating Creek

Has anyone heard of Spring Lake down near Palmdale in Glades County? It is part of the Fisheating Creek park area.

Hey -- your 'handle' may be signal 20, but as I said -- I'm a little signal 20 myself at times....
My in-laws visited fisheating creek this past week while driving back from south Florida and they had an interesting story.
Apparently, as a response from a question about fisheating creek and 'Spring Lake,' (they asked because they knew I would ask about it), to a park employee, the employee said Spring Lake is spring fed and that divers have gone 'down there' to try to find the spring vent but could not due to the depth....
I told my in-laws I doubt that's the case but I thought I would ask around on the cave forum anyway.
By the way, the next time you head up this way let me know so we can go diving. And, I believe I've got my brother and his fiancé talked into getting open water certified in June.
    Take care down there...

    Gene
