Any word on scooter use? I'm not even to the point yet that I would use a scooter, but when I am that is a system I would want to use it in, since on thirds I cannot get much past the end of the FL room usually.
Since several other state parks allow scooter use, I would not see that they would not allow it.Quote:

I do think the government can screw up anything, but it would be nice to know you have somebody watching out for your vehicle & any gear you might have left unprotected.
I have stated in other posts about living out of the state & how great the park pass is, it pays for itself many times over for me.
It looks like it is a done deal & whatever happens we will have to live with.

...or the other possibility is the springs could be purchased by water bottling companies who close all access to the site.

The state has always said its plan was to purchase all the first and second magnitude springs. At least with this land being given to the DEP to manage, their mandate is conservation and recreation, so this at least allows us to retain access, unfortunately maybe not under the same terms we've gotten used to. This will probably be less of an adjustment for us than the locals who will lose a place to drink beer ,and have to pay to access the park. So, I guess that will make Telford a busy place.
I absolutely agree 8)Quote:
