Does anyone have any suggestions for primitive camping near Peacock?
Thanks

River Rendezvous is the only place I know of. I've never stayed there so I can't vouch for it either way. Here's their link. http://www.therendezvous.org/
I've spent enough of my life sleeping on the ground so now I always just rent one of Rennaker's trailers. Nice and comfy for my tired old bones. :smt015
You could also camp at Telford but you take the chance of RedNeck stealing you tent while you are gone.
Lafayette Blue State Park
primitive camping and there’s a bath house and BBQ grills

we just stayed at the river rendezvous a few weeks ago. surprisingly we were the only ones camping. it was real nice though.
I camp at river rendezvous alot and love it prices arent bad and close to the springs Richard
Thanks for the input folks! I camped last week at the Hart Springs thing and rather enjoyed rolling out of the tent and into the activities. (even though changing out a water pump on a friends truck worked its way into the itinerary.)

As deep as your pockets are stay in a motel. I'll be in High Springs December 26 -30: you gonna be in the area then?
