Little River

Anyone have a recent report on the flow?

I was there Sunday morning bright and early. Vis was ~40-50' and flow was strong.

My husband and I were there the Sunday before last. The phrase, "two chihuahuas humping a gushing fire-hose" leaped to mind throughout my dive. Granted, it was a shake-down dive, and we weren't at the top of our game, but it was not the most fun Little River experience we've ever had.

What is the water level in the basin?

much below the concrete platform. walking on the rocks by the entrance

I did two dives there today. I felt the flow was up till the end of drop off then tapered off a bit but was still a pull and glide kind of day. vis was great. park visitors was light so overall a stress free day. Basin was low. I tightened up the gold line at the start by taking another wrap.

Thank you Michael. Last time I was there it was loose. I tried to tighten it by wrapping but wasn't very successful.

Last week there was a waterfall at the end of the run into the river. It can't get any lower, and sill outflow.

Just dived it on Sunday. We scootered but vis was very good and the flow was easy to swim against.

Yeah, the flow is way down compared to back in May when I dove it!
