I am going under the knife this friday, and I will be out of diving for 4 to 6 weeks, so I wanted to wish everyone on the CDF a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. See you all sometime in February.

Good luck John. We will all be thinking about you.
Thanks Forrest. Having a hernia repaired, and a tumor removed from the prostate all at the same time. I hate these late forties!Quote:

Here's to wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery John. You don't know me but I feel like I know you from reading your website.
Sorry you have to go through this at Christmas time.
Best wishes and Merry Christmas to everyone.

Thanks Dee. Maybe you can borrow Rich's ambulance and run me around. I will start boozing it up with Captain Morgan in my iv that night after the surgery. Dee, I might need you for a diaper change! THANKS EVERYONE for all your concerns.Quote:

John,
Good luck and have a speedy recovery. Late fourties? My late fifties are also a joy! "growing old; it ain't for sissies"
I wish you a successfull recovery as well....& there is no such thing as getting old as long as you think & do young things-! ie: Cave diving/kayaking/Skiing/hanging out with gorgeous women etc... :smt111
The Drs & Nurses are the best friends we'll ever know, & I cannot say enough kind words for their care of our well being.
Wishing you the best
Jack E. :)
John, Cheryl and I wish you all the best, good luck with everything mate :)
Safe diving,
Rich
Thank you guys and gals so much! You are all awesome. You are all family to me, and if you ever get down my way, came hang out and have a beer. Again thankyou.
John
Good luck and Merry Christmas John......See ya in the water !!!
Hyperbaric O2 reduces inflamation and speeds healing. Maybe you'll be released to dive sooner, if your buddies carry your gear...
Good luck
Bill
Best wishes for a speedy recovery John. Be nice to the nurse that comes in with the razor prior to the surgery, they can do awful things to you if you piss them off (like asking for a female nurse when a male nurse comes to do the task  ) Merry Christmas bud, hope you are back to diving soon.
Good luck John! Get well soon!!!
Lee
