re: Steve Auer's "Desperate Diver" question . . .
Who is the "Model" diver in this pic?
Just now thought about whether or not mentioning this particular work is a violation of a rule or not. Guess I'll know shortly. Just interested in knowing the behind the scenes info on some of the more popular cave diving memorabilia.
PM me if need be. Thanks.
Names are not an issue. ie: This past weekend I saw Rob, Bill, Bob (or Robert) K, David Pratt, Ranger Jeff, Ranger Rick, Karen, Cynthia P, Micheal O'leary, Dusty (aka Mike Mc), Cathy, Janet, Jim from Leesburg and many others in NFL.
But... I'm missing something... what picture, where, are you talking about?

Where is the picture as I don't see it either...
edit: I have seen this picture at the Luraville country store I think.
mpoucher - That sounds right. Now that you said it . . . it rings a bell.
Jason B. - The way I asked the question makes it sound like I was posting the pic, but I wasn't. I knew a number of people would know the print by name. The way I worded it would cause some confusion.
Steve used to have a website where this pic was posted along with others. You could buy a print from him. Now, his site is no longer up.
It was on the cover of I think the NACD journal around the time it was taken. Man, did that flood suck big-time. It did make me dive Jug Hole though.

Yeah, but when the flood cleared we had some of the best cave diving in years. I do remember a lot of trips to Jackson Blue at that time, with the current so strong that the first T was something people hoped they could get to with a scooter.Quote:

I never scootered and pulled but did have to use a frog kick in some restrictions, to help the scooter out a bit! Then came the drought! :(Quote:
