Mark your calendars, The annual clean-up at Madison Blue Springs State Park is scheduled for March 22, 2014. The time will be 8:30 to lunch at which time we will have a BBQ and a few door prizes. Hopefully you will have time for a dive too. More information will be posted here and in your favorite newsletter/journal later this month and early next year. Thanks John, you have been a great supporter over the years.
Please explore the possibility of a temp camping permit for participants. That will make the trip much more feasible for us in Orlando. That was maybe the one nice thing when Mike and his Mom owned it, made a nice weekend trip. Dive Peacock Area Sat gas up and camp at Madison Dive early Sunday morning home to Orlando for dinner.

For all of you who have volunteered and to thioe who still may volunteer.
Work to be performed includes:
1. Cutting up and removed some trees/limbs that were/are a hazard, diseased, or fallen.

Let me know what tools you can bring and if there is anything in particular you would like to do.
We will provide lunch and refreshments.
Lastly, any electricians that plan to attend? There is a small project in the men's changing room on the rafters.

Hi all, we have had a good bit of rain in South Georgia since Sunday. I will check on water conditions tomorrow at Madison and post tomorrow evening and every few days. Hopefully, flooding will not force us to reschedule again.
Hi all, I talked to a park ranger a few minutes ago. Water is about 1.5 inches from the concrete between the upper steps and the dive/swim deck area. We will continue to monitor and keep you posted.
Hi all, ECO-Day is still a go. Water is rising but it be below the parking lot which will allow us to get some work done. See you on Saturday.
Looking fwd to it. The Mrs is going to be along as well. :)

Also, thanks to a great group of volunteers who relocated a shower, cleaned the step area from the parking lot, trimmed tree limbs and removed dead/fallen trees. Lastly, we appreciate our grillmaster, Mike Stine!
